Eureka Springs & North Arkansas Railway - April, 1993
This is a tourist-oriented line in a hilly picturesque Victorian-style city in northern Arkansas.
It was opened in 1981 by restoring 2.5 miles of a line built in 1893 and abandoned by 1961.
Though the line owns 4 steam engines, none have been functional for several years.
A 1942 EMD SW-1 diesel switcher is now the only motive power for excursions.
The #1 operating here is a Baldwin (Philadelphia, 1906) 2-6-0 woodburning mogul.
The switcher can be seen in the very last photo at the left.
