Savannah, Georgia,
Central of Georgia Roundhouse - June, 2009

This roundhouse area has been converted into a museum. The Central of Georgia Railroad
owned and operated these facilities from 1851 until 1963.
It's now called the "Roundhouse Railway Museum",
and is operated by the Coastal Heritage Society of Georgia.

My wife looking at the museum guide brochure.

The turntable structure with various bays seen in the background.

The smokestack has a bunch of "privies" (toilets) around its perimeter.

Inside the machine shop...

...and the printing room where they printed the Central of Georgia timetables.
